A stage play performance “Ek Aur Dronacharya” was organized at Juhu Jagruti Hall on 31 -07-11 at 1900 hours
The play was written by Shankar Shesh and wAS directed by Shakeel Sayani . neeraj kumar PLAYED main protagonist in 40 minutes play Play dealt with the serious theme of corruption prevalent in the society and tried to draw a parallel with Guru Dronacharya and was quite successful in its efforts, given the jam packed Seminar Hall, with people even occupying the seats upstairs and enthusiastic response and applause by the audiences.
The play threw light on the educational system entrapped in the web of corruption, sparing none, even the most disciplined find themselves compromising with the system. The plot hangs around the character of Prof. Arvind, a protagonist who was a man of disciplines and always stuck to truth, finds himself surrounded by the gigantic monster of corruption when he tried to report the act of cheating by the son of an influential person. The greed for fame, power, money and constant rebukes by his wife for a materialistic lifestyle overpower him, pollutes his mind and his professional ethics take a back seat. GREAT SUCCES
